New System Build for Vegas Pro Question

Hello All,

First time poster - but from what I've seen so far it's a good community.

Anyway I have a couple of questions about a new system build.

is there a Video Card/Monitor combo that is considered the best to get?
And what about in the mid price range ( I consider the Apple Cinema to be the mid price range).

Will Vegas Pro take advantage of a 2 x 4 core I7 setup?

What is the recommendations for reducing the computer fan/whatnot noise levels down towards zero?

Answer: Yes. i7 is very worthwhile for Vegas Pro 9.0e. All 8 threads will be used in parallel during render.

1. Use liquid cooling for your CPU. Corsair H50 is suitable for an i7.
2. Get a big case with very large fans, which can move air while rotating at a lower rate, thus reducing but not eliminating noise.
