"Google and Intel have teamed with Sony to develop a platform called Google TV to bring the Web into the living room through a new generation of televisions and set-top boxes."
I already have the internet in my living room, and my kitchen, and my dining room, and my bedroom, and out on the porch. It's known as a laptop with WiFi. As far as my TV is concerned, i like having TV on it.
This probably is a good thing. It's using the Android operating system which will have lots of deverlopers familiar with it because of its growth in cell phones. Panasonic passed on this saying the Intel hardware added to much cost, though they may have just been trying to rain on Sony's announcement.
I bet the Android OS is better than what others are going to be using. Internet gadgets are coming to the TV, that's not the question. The question is what's the best way to do it?
