What do you look like? (2010)

John_Cline wrote on 2/6/2010, 1:42 AM
Grazie and Chienworks (Kelly) just posted a fresh image of the two of them in London and it reminded me of a fun thread that I started almost exactly two years ago. Here is a link to the original thread:

http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/forums/ShowMessage.asp?ForumID=4&MessageID=579300

In it, I said, "I know all of you guys by name only and, with the exception of a few of you that I have met at NAB, I have no idea what any of you look like. I have a mental image of what I think some of you might look like, but I don't know for sure. (Although I'm pretty certain that BillyBoy had horns.)

Anyway, I thought it might be fun that whoever wants to participate can post a recent shot of themselves in this thread. I'll start with a recent photo of my hideous mug and see if anyone else joins in."

The instructions on how to post images to this forum are contained in this "sticky."

My friends always tell me that if I lost weight, I'd look like Brad Pitt. Maybe, I don't know.

Sept. 2009

That is me with my son and grandmother at the nursing home (she didn't live long after that as she had a stroke a few months before). A lot has gone on for us in this past year... and to prove it, we are expecting our second child!

May as well add yet another grey-haired old guy to the collection :-)

I guess if I'm going to offer help, I should post my picture. Here's my Facebook mugshot - another gray head.

My new years resolution was to lose a little weight. This is me finally dropping below 200 pounds. I still don't look like Brad Pitt though. ;-)

I'd kill to have the full, GREY heads of hair most you all have. I'm the balding fellow between my two sons.

For those having trouble linking the photo: I was also. I don't think you can just upload to your ftp site. I actually had to put the photo temporarily on a place on my website.

I wondered how long it would take until someone posted a "humorous" photo that wasn't them. Thanks, Jay. (Although maybe that really is you.) God, I hate clowns and mimes. (Steve Jobs gig as a teenager was a mime in an amusement park.)

what an interesting collection.....

would love to see if soundmen, cameramen (not being sexist here!) have a tendency to look similar too....

well, all the pollies i know are fat, jovial, red-faced liars, and policemen look too young for the job, and the homeless all look the same, etc.,

any anthropologists out there?

Just cut down a 80 ft tall Norwegian Maple, it was split already and dangerous. (Acutally used a chain saw)

This was for a poster for a gig:

I made the composite in Vegas. Left the fixed camera running for 5 mins, whilst I took up the three positions in turn, then selected three stills and used bezier masks to combine them.
