Swithching to Vegas from liquid & laptop recommend

So I've been thinking of making the switch to Vegas Pro from Liquid for a while now and think I'm ready to pull the trigger. I downloaded the trial for VP9 when it was first released and think I can learn my way around the program (I tested it out on my turnkey Liquid desktop system at the time) but I am looking at buying a new laptop to go with Vegas and was wondering what everyone's thoughts might be on the Sony Vio F series (VPCF117FX/B).

Specs are:
1.6GHz Intel Core i7-720QM Quad-Core CPU 6GB (1x4GB, 1x2GB) RAM 500GB 7200rpm SATA Hard Drive Blu-ray ROM with SuperMulti DVD Burning nVIDIA GeForce 330M Graphics 16.4" 16:9 Widescreen Display Integrated Webcam and Microphone Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)

I have two Sony HDV cams now and just recently purchased a sony avchd camcorder (cx100) for mounted pov shots and general family use. Most of my projects are performance boating videos, school sports recordings & I do have an occasional training video for work thrown in.

Any input would be appreciated. If you have recommendations of a different laptop, I would be grateful to hear...

Thanks, Mark
