Subject:Audio Studio 8.0 "File Is An Unsupported Format"

Hi All,
Have been using S.F. Audio Studio 8.0 for the last 2 years with no probs until now!! .. I'm using XP, with a bonafide copy (Licensed to myself). ...Mainly use for vinyl recording (Editing pops & clicks etc..which can be soul destroyingly time consuming).
Having recorded & saved my work to S.F. My probs begin when i try to RE-OPEN a saved file, Either of two messages appear,

1. Warning; "An error occured whilst opening one or more files, The file is an unsupported format" INTHIS CASE THE FILE DOES NOT OPEN AT ALL!
2.Warning "An error occured" The file was created with an unsupported version of the program"
Going into the PROPERTIES & SUMMARY of the file i notice a QUESTION MARK (?) has been placed in the Comments line ,hence removing this does nothing.

Now starting to panic, Can anyone help please, Cheers....

What format are you saving the files to?

If it is quicktime, m4a, aac - welcome to the club. You'll find more info in the Vegas Audio forum, but no help resolving it

Just a guess but there "might" be a registration issue with the MP3 plugin.
If that is the case, Sony Customer Support will be able to help you.

Is this a protection issue? I am having an unsupported issue with m4a files I downloaded from itunes, with SF9. Has SF10 fixed this?
