Does DVDA Studio add pulldown?

I'm using VMS 9.0b Platinum and DVDA Studio 4.5d on Win XPSP3.

What does DVD Architect Studio do with 24p (23.976) source material exactly? I realize the final DVD output is at 29.97fps. So, does that mean pulldown is added?

Secondly in VMS, is the same true of rendering a 23.976 timeline to MPEG-2 using the NTSC widescreen DVD architect template? Is pulldown added then?

If it helps, in the full version at least of Vegas, there's a template for DVDA 24p (W/S or F/S). If you want to find out what the result is out of the apps you've got, try DGIndex [dgmpgdec over at videohelp.com] -- playing .m2v, .mpg, or .VOB you'll see pulldown or NTSC interlaced & other info.
