Virtual MIDI Router and XP

One of the free utilities available for us is the Virtual MIDI Router but the latest version they have is listed for Windows NT and 2000.

Is anyone using this with XP?

I've heard over other MIDI routers, a few are free.

What would you recommend?

Although it doesn't claim XP compatibility, the VMR does work under XP too. You can find instructions for fixing some of the things that might go wrong with the installation here.

But if you can't get VMR to work you could try the free MidiYoke from here instead - it's always worked well for me.
