Subject:Dropout during MIDI recording in ACID 7

I have both ACID 6 and ACID 7 installed. When recording midi in ACID 7 I experience dropouts...then it kicks in again. No problems with ACID 6 on the same machine, same soundcard.

Any help would be appreciated. cheers.

Same machine and save soundcard.... but that is hardware..... Are the preferences in AP7 set up correctly? In audio are you using ASIO drivers for your sound card? Anyway, check and double check to be sure all is set up right in your AP7 installation.....

As it turns out it's the hardware that's causing problems. Faulty express card. Thanks. Thought I was losing my mind there for a minute.
