A little more info might help.
1 What type of unit do you have? Brand of computer, video card?
2 When do you get this message? Only while in Vegas, in other programs, all the time?
3 What are you rendering?

Lars,
check your preferences and ensure that where the rendering is taking place is the same spot you expect it to take place... It may have reverted to a default...

Just trying to help - please don't interpret the comment as an insult...

Until that time... Earl J.

Earl.. ;) Checking in preferences but don't see anything there looks strange. Hasn't there been something with Quickime causing trouble lately? Perhaps that's what causing the trouble?

ALthough I feel I have experiemced this now and then before with Vegas. It stops working, complains there is not enough memory while ther indeed is plenty of memory...

Best
Lars

How much Preview RAM do you have allocated, reducing it to 0 or a very small value seems to be one cure that works for some.

What you're seeing raises a question that's been on my mind for a while. Can / will Vegas use more than 4GB of RAM if it's available?

Yes Bob, it will. Even though it's another bug, but when smart-rendering mxf, my installation will consume all available RAM (I have 8 GB), and then some (until the swap file is all used).

SCS was never able to help me on this :(
