Doby digital pro render

I have the old Sonic Foundry AC3 plugin. I had to reinstall Sony Vagas 8C on a new PC and now it tells me I have to purchase the Dolby Pro AC 3 plugin when I try to render the Audio file with it. I tryed reinstalling it but no good. I tried searching but came up with nothing.

Can any of you all help me?

You need to install DVD Architect to get AC-3 capability.

OK, but in my previous versions of Vegas including this one on my old PC, I had access to to the Dolby Digital pro authoring without DVD Ark installed. (I don't use it) I assumed it was becaus the Sonic Foundry ac3 plug in was utilized. But now I can't seem get it installed so Vegas will use it. I guess I will install DVDA eventhough I did't have to in the past.
