That's a pretty broad question. Is it a script that you wrote? Is it compiled to a DLL? Have you tested it on Vegas 8? Did you have any problems? If so, what were they?

It depends on what the script is doing as to whether it will function correctly or not. Vegas 8 has better upward compatibility with Vegas 7 than Vegas 7 had with Vegas 6. Unfortunately, if it's a compiled script you will need to recompile it against the Vegas 8 DLL for at least .Net 2.0 or 3.0 to work in Vegas Pro 8.

If you can give us more information about what you are trying to do we can help you. There is no quick answer.

Hi JR.

For a long time,
I still can`t fix this problam,
The reason is I buy the scripts call "BatchrenderPro1.0"
I really like it,
But it can`t work in Vegas 8.0 !!
I try to e-mail to Roger, but no reply to me !!
Is there any way that I can fix easily ?

That script would need to be recompiled by Roger.

It may be time to move to a different batch rendering program.

Is there any scripts that can batch render files with regions ?

There's an update to the batch script that ships with Vegas here.

There's the Veggie Toolkit which has a ton of render options.

There's several other free batch render scripts floating around.

etc...

Ultimate S Pro will also batch render projects and files from the filesystem in multiple formats.
