Subject:Lost Markers

Hey all. Out of the blue, SF now loses all markers created during live recordings when saved to a file. Creating markers in a saved file works fine. I had this come up a couple of years ago in a previous version but it went away after an update so I attributed it to a bug that had been fixed. Now I'm experiencing it in 9.0e just in the past few days. Has anybody come across this before?

Just checking the "duh" things ... you do have the box that says "save metadata" checked when you save, right?

BIG duh. In all the years I've been using Sound Forge, which goes back to version 3, I think, I've never intentionally checked or unchecked that box. Somehow I accidentally unchecked it and SF made that the default. Thanks for the help! (tail between legs)
