It sounds like you are very new to Vegas and video editing, so I'll just give you a simple answer.

If you want to watch on TV, you'll need to convert your video to MPEG2, so that you can burn it to a DVD and view it that way.

If you want to watch it on your PC, you can also use MPEG, or any of the other VIDEO formats. Most media players today can handle the choices that Sony Vegas offers as render options.

And, for your edification, .WAV is an AUDIO format.
