Subject:ACID 7 Mix Buss Emulation?

Does anyone (Sony) know if the the ACID 7 mix bus is an emulation of any particular analogue desk. I think it sounds very, very good, but it is significantly different than my other DAWs.

The routing model is fundamentally based on the Mackie 8 Bus. At least that is where it started at.

Mixing/summing is nothing other than simple math. Multiple signals are 'summed' together.

The only unique aspect is that automation and trim are independent.

I don't know if this is what you are asking, but I hope it helps.
