AP7 Drops Line 6 KB37 Midi drivers and shows a message stating
"An error has occured" in details tab "Line 6 KB37 input could not be opened"

Afterwhich -the Line 6 KB37 is unavailable to any other app.
So Acid is effectivly "eating" the line 6 midi drivers.
Requires a full reboot to re-instate

I should add that this only happens when you add a soft synth to a project.

I am not seeing this behavior with my KB37.

I tried adding a number of different softsynths in many different ways, and the KB37 still works correctly.

Are you running XP or Vista?

Are you using the KB37 for MIDI only or audio and MIDI?

Peter

Hi Peter,
I use the KB37 for midi (via usb) only.
I have T.C. Electronic Konnekt 24D for audio.

XP SP2

Seems to work fine here, although I am doing all my midi parts with Reason 4. I can play my audio through either the KB37 interface or my laptop audio using ASIO4ALL with no problems either way.

Still not accepting the KB37 for either Audio or midi.
Latest drivers from Line 6 installed.

Would an AP7 reinstall help?

Fop,

Maybe try uninstalling the driver to the line 6. Redownload it too for sh!ts and giggles. Reinstall both and see what happens.
