Magic bullet looks in Vista64?

Has anyone managed to get Magic bullet looks to install in Vista64?

I'm running Vegas8.0b and cannot install MBL the install does not accept the serial number (done button remains greyed out)

The demo version will install but then does not show up in Vegas.

I have followed advice on the Red Giant website and run the installer in compatibilty mode and as administrator but nothing works.

I know it's not officially supported but hope someone may have found a way to install it.

I have it installed on Vista 64 HP SP1. If I remember rightly, during installation entering the serial number does not work on the initial screen where it asks you, i.e. the greyed out button you mention. There is another option on that same screen to choose, which I can't exactly remember which one, either demo or no internet access. Entering the serial number there worked. I have Looks 1.1 running in both Vegas 8b and AE CS3.

I was a beta tester and had MBL working just fine with no issues on Vista Ultimate 64 bit, now I am using it on XP Pro 64

OK I managed to get it working.

I noticed the first time I ran Vegas after I installed MBL it gave me an error about MBL not being registered but I had not seen it again after many other attempts to install MBL.
So I did a system restore to before the first time I had installed MBL, ran the installer as administrator (which still would not accept serial number) so installed demo version BUT before running Vegas I used regedit to manually paste the serial number into the registry.

(a search for "giant" in the registry will find entries for MBL, the serial is listed as "demo" edit this value to your serial number with no spaces)

Vegas now has MBL and installing looks builder picked up the serial automatically.

Hopes this helps someone!
