Custom Button and Text Highlighting

Joeybear wrote on 3/15/2008, 1:31 PM
A year or so ago, I created a DVDA file that did the following...

When a button was highlighted, the button itself would highlight according to the mask I created for it (i.e., the button frame would highlight, but NOT the still video thumbnail inside of the button). And at the same time, the text right next to it would highlight; based on a text mask overlay.
Unfortunately, the original DVDA file was lost, and I've completely forgotten how to do this. : (

If anyone knows what I'm trying to do, please post the procedure on how to do it. Thanks in advance.

Never mind. I found the highlight mask file for the background, and now it's all coming back to me.

Sorry 'bout that.

I'm in the exact same position, except it's not coming back to me... :-/

Does anyone have an example .psd file that imports into DVD-A correction, with an example showing button highlight masks?

I've been trying to follow the help instructions in the program (DVD-A Pro 4.5). I made the PSD file with layers, but when I do "insert submenu from file" it just crashes the program and exits.
