Hey, are you guy getting audio with Quicktime Juicer 3 export? Does audio show up in Vegas (8).

I ask because I have been trouble getting Vegas to recognize Juicer 3 exported QT audio. At least one other person in this forum was having the exact same trouble, so it doesn't appear that it's just me. :)

Audio shows up fine everywhere, except in the Vegas 8 timeline.

Just curious...

Thanks!

I found that when I upgraded to V8, QT juicer clips that still "worked" in V7 would no longer be recognised in V8.

The solution? I upgradrade Quicktime and all was well.

What QT version did you go from to?

I updated Quiktime last night, I think to version 7.3, but Vegas 8 still sees no QT audio. These same clips, audio shows up fine in several other programs besides Vegas. It looks to be a Vegas problem, I believe.

Thanks.

You're right. My apologies. When I updated Quicktime from 7.x (whatever it was) to the current version, I was able to "see" the video, but I haven't had a need to use/import Quicktime audio.

I rendered a clip from the juicer with audio (which took ages) and yes, there was no audio. However, the Quicktime player reproduced the sound...

A workaround is that there is an option in the juicer to render audio separately.
