Plugin chooser bug in new mixing console

CineGobs wrote on 9/14/2007, 9:45 AM
If I insert an effect in the new mixing console, I get a menu with different categories. If I choose Chorus->Sony I get some other plugins instead of the Sony ones.

For example:
Selecting "Sony Chorus" actually selects "Glaceverb"
Selecting "Sony express chorus" selects "Mastering reverb"
etc.

Btw. the "Dyanamics" category should probably be spelled "Dynamics" ;-)

wow - good catch with "Dyanamics"

I'm not seeing the plugins loading incorrectly, though. It was something I saw in an earlier beta, though, so it could be some residue from that bug...

Another mixing console bug.

If you change the track colors in Preferences > Display, the original Vegas track colors are still shown in the console. The timeline however does show the custom track colors - so you end up with some obvious confusion.

Can anyone confirm?

Known issue. Will be addressed in an update.

Wow!!! More audio related bugs than audio related features in Vegas 8.0. Sounds pretty efficient. I was interested to check it out to see what it looks like, but I think I'll wait for the 8.0d release before I install the demo. There's really no hurry. I'll get the best use of my 30 days that way, rather than participating in the public beta team.
