Can anyone please tell me how to slow down a certain part of a song like the way the DJ normally does it with the record...... i mean like fast forward in the opposite.

CTRL drag your file out while it is on the Vegas timeline. To make it sound right afterwards, right click the file and choose properties and mess with the pitch settings.

Thanks for replying, but the pitch change doesn't support realtime change like the 'rit.' effect.

The trick is to automate it and then you can put the tape stop at any point you want.
