PTT problem: My system or a possible bug?

This morning I have been wrestling with printing to tape a 4:3 arc'd version of a 16:9 program for the sci-fi channel, who do not yet (but soon) broadcast in 16:9

No problem. The operation went without a hitch,

However, on loading the 16:9 version and going to the print to tape menu...

Pop! (well, actually no sound at all, I'm being dramatic), Vegas simply vanishes.

After much gnashing of teeth a solution is discovered.

Load the 16:9 project, change the project propertied to 4:3, THEN open the print to tape menu, change it to 16:9, cancel, change project properties BACK to 16:9, the go into print to tape and...

Everything is fine. Print to tape performs without a hitch.

So it seems that if you go into Print to Tape and your project properties don't match the print to tape current properties, Vegas will vanish before the PTT menu comes up.

...or is it my system?

What is your system?

Hi,
It's an Athlon 64 3700+ processor on a MSI K8n Neo4-F motherboard.
4gb ram
2 internal hardrives,
3 external drives.

Using a Canopus ACE DV IO video card for capture and playback.

Thanks.

2 questions. 1) have you done this before? 2) What version of Vegas are you using? 6.0, 7.0d, 7.0e?

Hi.

Sorry yes, I'm using Vegas 7e.
I've done this before in the sense that I have done lots of PTT stuff without incident.

This is the first time I've done a 4:3 PTT followed by 16:9. (and/or vice versa)

Thanks
