creating "worm" motion in title?

Does anyone have a suggestion for creating a title that wiggles or crawls in like a worm or snake – either in Vegas or in BluffTitler?

I have a friend nicknamed "the worm" and hope to use this as an intro for when he appears in a vid Im putting together.

funny you should mention that. Nintendo make a tutorial on doing this on the Mario Paint program YEARS ago. the easiest way is to you a paint/animation program & hand draw it. looks best that way IMHO.

you can use the biezer curves in the track motion if you wanted though. Would do the same thing. :)

Also, I just started using a program called "inkscape" to make some .eps files. Real nice. You could make a "worm" in there via curves & then animate in there, saving each frame to a file.

If what you want is text to scroll in a specific pattern...I have done that by doing one track, creating the path of that letter w/ keyframes. Then create a number of tracks equal to your number of letters and spaces. Copy the original letter to each track w/o doing the reference copy. Off set each copy of the letter by something like 1/4 second. Change the letter in each one to what you want and bam! You got a word of phrase that moves around the screen like a worm in under 5 minutes. I have a veg at home that I can post later.
