Subject:Error when opening a saved project...

This is the text of the error message:

"An error occurred during the current operation.
An Exception has occurred."

This is likely the cause:
"In Module 'SonitusFxReverb.dll' at Address 0xABE0000 + 0x1706B" as I was using a reverb plug-in from Sonar 5.

Is there any way I can recover this project? I would have thought that if a plug-in shows up in the plug-in chooser that Acid would be able to find the pathway when re-visiting that project.

Oh, and when I hit the "OK" button Acid closes and I have this message:

.\Portable\RewireDLL.cpp(895) : Verify failure

By the way, using the VST Effects tab under "preferences" I told Acid where to look for VST effects and steered it to the folder where Cakewalk's VST effects are filed. This didn't work.
I really need to recover this project. I find it difficult to believe that because of using the Sonitus reverb plug-in from Sonar 5 on ONE track that I now cannot access the entire project.
Is there any way to edit the project without opening Acid and delete the offending track?

I've also tried copying the SonitusFXReverb.dll to Acid's default VST plug-in folder. No joy.
