Dynamic Processing Batch Processing

I am looking for a way to batch process several hundred voice over tracks to get them all to the same approximate volume. Is there a plug in or a tool that will allow this type of automated compression / limiting processing?

The process that I would be following is I would run track statistics to find the RMS volume for each track and then run each track through a limiter to match the track RMS volume to a preset standard. Is there a way to batch process now in Sound Forge? Does Soundforge do any automation? If so, what versions support this? Any third party software? Do I need to write a script for this?

Thanks very much in advance for any advice!!!

If I understand the question correctly, you can do this with the Normalize effect (on the Process menu).

And you can Normalize several hundred files to the same RMS level using Batch converter. (on the Tools menu).

There is no need to write a script that I can see at this point.
