Yes and no.
The presets are a starting point and most often need to be tweaked for optimal effectivness.

I was thinking multitrack.. duh.
Any processing will affect everything in those frequencies in the stereo trk.. Experment using narrow bandwidths and "zero in" on the offending frequencies.

Yeah those presets killed the sound so much I decided I like the sibilance better. It is less noticeable when using a phantom center instead of a center channel in the surround mix. I may go with that.

split all the s's manually and bring them down in level to taste. Far better than smearing your whole vocal track.
