Someone have used Samplitude Professional 8 and Acid Pro 5 for many projects and don't knowing wich is better?

I do this question for nowdays I am editing widely a concert music for DVD of 1:30 mins for this propuse I am using Samplitude Professional 8... but WHY NOT USE ACID PRO 5???????

The concert has 21 songs each song in one track, I would liked do this project with Acid Pro, but.. but... but... Acid Pro not is multi-track and hasn't SPECTOSCOPE for view the sound showed in frequecies (40 HZ, 100 Hz. 1KHz etc, etc) The SPECTOSCOPE is very usefull for edit audio and video (only Vegas has spectoscope for edit video).

The spectoscope in the sound is very usefull for the users who not herar good the sound or has some seek in the ears (like me)

Would be REALLY A GOAL if the next versions of Acid Pro, Vegas and Sound Forge would have spectoscope for the sound, like Samplitude, Sequoia and Wave Lab has it.

I would like to know your viewpoint about this,

cheers...

Juan

I totally agree with you --- I mentioned this sometime ago, but it was largely ignored by many forum readers.

It would be cooling to have a bar that has a re-sizeable spectral bar plot, which is real time signal analzer for the overall audio, and then there can be analyzers loaded for each track, so that you can inspect each audio track/ midi track song as you setup up the mixes/eq curves etc.

Izotope has an excellent spectral plot, it is a pluggin that really has more to do with mastering than with viewing spectral data.

Bye,
Kevin
