Not sure if this is news to anyone, but it was to me:

The last paragraph on that page gives a link and instructions to check if your camera (still or video) is affected.

Thanks for that info. It's never good when equipment fails, however it's always nice to know the solution!!

It looks like we have to send it overseas just to get it done, ?!?!?

I haven't found a place to send it in the US yet - anyone know of one?

Had me worried for a minute but it's only the viewfinder. Biggest problem we have with those is the amount of grot that gets inside them and it's difficult to get out.
