And I thought *I* was short on patience!?! Sheesh... ;-)

Check out some sample tutorials from the Sony training DVD.
Also, Acid comes with a product manual and a help file.

I think you need to set the titanic song track as a "one shot" that's independent of the time of the song, and then set the song tempo to 150. If "titanic" isn't on one track, render it down to one track first and then open a new project using titanic as one track in it.

If you want to keep "the Titanic song" (I assume this is "My Heart Will Go On"?) in its original tempo, import it as or change it to a One-shot as track type. (Double-click the respective track icon in the track list and under the General tab, choose "One-shot.")

This will keep the song in its original form while you can change the rest of your project's tempo without affecting it.

LMAO, My Heart Will Go On, maybe it's an intentional bug the developers put in for your own good to keep you from playing really lame songs.

If you're trying to match a 90bpm song with a 150bpm drum track then good luck! You'll somehow have to time-stretch 'My Heart Will Go On' to almost double it's tempo. I reckon even the best time-stretch alorithms will produce artifacts. IOW it will sound grainy and crap.

You could always chop up the track and place it in your 150bpm track or find a pella of Ms Dion. I assume you're trying to do a 150bpm remix of the song.

There's always the attraction of speeding up the whole 90bpm track and creating a munchkin effect. Quite a few tracks have shot up the charts using this technique.
