Next button

Ok, I have my end action to link to the a menu after the clip plays. Why does my clip return to the beginning of the clip if I use my next button to go to each chapter. Shouldn't I ba able to hit next all the way through and then have it return to the menu after I hit the end of the last chapter?

From what I remember, Sony reps' explanation for this has been that the behavior of the next button on the last chapter of a titleset varies from DVD player to DVD player, and thus they cannot guarantee a consistent result.

I went back and forth with tech support for over a month on this. I could not get them to understand what the problem was. There is a work around however. You need to put a chapter marker 1 second from the end of the project.

I do this before rendering. I put a 1 second empty event at the end and place a marker right in front of it. If you have already rendered place the marker one second from the end in DVDA. Notice it wont let you put one any further down the timeline. In DVDA you skip to this last chapter, wait one second then the player initiates the end action.

What bugs me the most about this is it works as expected in preview.
