Personally I prefer the letterbox, if that's what you want just render your project at 4:3.

If not I'm guessing your going to have to use " Track Motion " or " Pan/Crop" to pan and zoom to make something workable.

I'm sure others may have better advice, or you want the letterbox look.

Here's a radical thought, just put it in as 4:3 but try not having it dead centre, even crop bits off it. Try using a soft edge. Maybe the idea stinks or looks very 60s or maybe it works for you.
