Look in your themes folder, for example:

C:\Program Files\Sony\DVD Architect 2.0\_Themes\vacation1.thm

the files are there. When you add new themes or elements you will
need to follow the instructions in the PDF as DVDA looks for the package and "installs" it.

Small clarification. The source files for a theme are located in a subdirectory with the theme name in the _Themes directory. The theme files that describe the theme are in the Theme directory - there aren't any .thm files in the subdirs of the _Themes directory.

Another question about themes. How does one change the colors, buttons etc. in a theme?

The same way you would change them if you didn't use themes.

Easy way:

For example you pick Funky 2 as the template. Drag a movie to the menu and you'll see the button style Now click on the buttons tab at the bottom and double click on a button style you like better. for changing colors etc.. click on what you want to change and experiment with the menu choices in the right window pane.

Hard way:

If you're asking how do you make your own custom template to use over and over you need to "copy" one that's already made, rename it and make it in your own stle. There is a PDF file that gives details on modfying the XML file. There really is no need, everything in a template is either text or images and you can do it free hand far easier and faster.
