slideshow creation

I've got 80 or so photos which i'd like to make a slideshow out of. I've posted question DVDA forum also but wondering whether anyone here has any thoughts?

When I've dropped in a slide show in DVDA and added my audio track, the music finishes by 4 mins yet i still have 8 mins of photos to get through. I can't seem to drag and drop another audio files side by side?

What is the best way to do this? Music or Pic compilation? I want to use 3 tracks tracks to spread over 12 minutes. How can you manipulate the audio in DVDA?

Personally, I would create the slide show in Vegas...render...then bring it into DVD-A. Vegas will allow complete control over all aspects of the compilation. Very easy to "mix" music beds and/or voice overs.

Good luck.

You could make the slideshow using the Ultimate S script plug-in for Vegas 5. Under the Photo Montage tab it has a Fit To Music option that will space your images out evenly so that they end when the music does. There is a free fully functional 15-day trial. Use it on this project for free and then determine if it’s worth buying (you have nothing to loose). It can also add Pan and Scan to your slideshow to bring the images to life, create presets of transitions to apply, and more.
