Anybody have a clue? This pops up after rendering for about 10 minutes...I can't get my projects done because of this stupid error.

Not that this has happened to me very frequently - but when it has I have usually been able to figure out what portion of my veg was causing the error. Knowing that has allowed me to tweak some settings on the FX's applied at that point and get around the problem. Here is what I would do.

If rendering to AVI you should be left with the partially rendered AVI file on your hard disk. If you are not rendering to AVI - I would recommend that you do.. as that will give you a better idea of what is going wrong - see below.

Load that AVI file back into your original veg above all the existing tracks. You will now be able to see exactly where the problem is ocurring (it will be in the frames immediately after the end of the partially rendered AVI).

[edit] in looking at the dump you provided - there is reference to the mpeg encoder... so I would assume you are rendering to MPEG after all. Try rendering to the AVI format instead.. and trying the above.

Do you have media that is stored on a CD or DVD? This will often/generally cause MainConcept to fail. Do you have high resolution pictures on the timeline that are tiff or tga? This can cause mainconcept to fail.
You might locate the area causing the failure, and then render that small area to 4:2:2 YUV or to uncompressed. Then render to MPEG from there. Unless you don't have a lot of color/information in the stream, or if it's entirely a DV project with overlays, you don't want to render to DV first, and then render to MPEG, as you'll lose more information in the second render.
