...and I would have missed it if DKeenum didn’t alert us over on the ACID forum so a big thank you goes out to him. I just figured you guys are into ACID too so I would let you know. It’s really not well advertised. I couldn’t find a link from the ACIDPlanet home page at all. Enjoy,
> Do you know if these loops are included with Spot's Vegas 5 Editing Workshop DVD?
I think I found the answer and its NO!
In reading some of the details on the ACID Planet.com web site it says:
The unique 300/30 loopset comprises nearly 600 megabytes of previously unreleased material, culled from a three-gig treasure trove of sounds distributed across five killer products
Ahhh... I love the smell of fresh loops in the mornin’. ;-)
Don’t forget, the loops are only available for seven (7) days so the first link is about to go dead. Download ‘em now or loose ‘em forever. (besides you wouldn’t want stale loops now would you?)
Forgot to mention in my previous post, that I am really looking forward to the release of your book, Instant Acid in 2005.
I have upgraded to Acid 5.0, and I would really like to get to grips with Acid, as I view it as a very important and complimentary musical solution to my multimedia projects.
Playing some surround projects right now as I type. Wow!!!
Thank You. There hasn’t been a book about ACID since version 3 and Iacobus (mD) and I were thinking that writing down all the advice we give on the ACID forum in one place (along with many we haven’t shared) would be useful to ACID users.
Iacobus is a guitar player who records mostly audio tracks and I’m a MIDI keyboard player who record mostly MIDI tracks so we felt our talents complimented each other and would make the book strong in both areas. I like the "Instant" series format because it's very graphical and, like a reference, you can pick it up at any place you want and just learn how to do what you need instantly (I guess that’s why they call it Instant... Duh!). We’re hoping you guys like it. I know I’m excited about it. ;-)
We owe a lot to Spot for believing in us and allowing us to write a book for VASST.
Just a reminder: We are half way through the Sony 300/30 Loop Event (kinda like 300/15 now). The entire first week are now dead links so don’t forget to check back every couple of days and get your free loops. (I know I’m catching up on a few days I missed myself)
Crap, don't suppose someone is willing to post 1-10 for those of us who missed it ? Even if it's just a temporary thing can't tell ya how much I'd appreciate it. Can't believe I blew it.
