Menu audio length

Ok, the video I have for my menu is only 7 seconds but my audio is 5 minutes. How do I make my motion menu video come in with the audio, hold and continue with the audio until it is finished? Right now the audio continues but the video is black.

You put your audio and video into vegas, grab the right hand side of the video on the timeline and drag it until it matches the length of the audio. Then render the video as a DV AVI (or MPEG).
