Vision Series

Possibly a dumb question, beware :-o

I like the background in the Vision series, and am wondering if an how I could create my own background like that? I could create stuff from real life, but the blurred hoops and stuff like that, I don't know what software is available to create such things. If anyone knows please let me know.

Hi Jim,

The CG graphics to which you refer could have been made in any number and combination of tools. I personally favor:

3DStudio Max - 3D modeling, animation, and rendering
After Effects (with a plethora of plugins) - 2D processing (like blurs, blooms, etc.)

Thanks for the info. I think I had a demo of 3dsmax a long time ago, but never used it. I think because I didn't know what I was doing lol. I'll check it out again. I can only learn 100 new pieces of software and tools at the same time! ;-)
