I have read the post about the lowered AC3 volume here. I understand what was said that might help. My question is, where do you make these DRC settings changes at? Is this something you can only do on Vegas 5.0 + DVD or can I do this with my 4.0 version? Will somebody please guide me to where you make these changes, if they can be made?

In V4, after selecting your format (as AC3) click the CUSTOM tab for the settings just as you would for setting video quality, bit rate etc.

Thank you so much. I've never accessed the AC3 settings and was going crazy trying to find them. I still had trouble until I finally remembered where the mpg settings were. I noticed that everytime I go back and look, it's re-set to the normal settings. Does this mean I have to render an AC3 seperately first? I was hoping I could change the settings permanently, if I wanted, so it would re-render that way as soon as I started to make a DVD. I guess that would be too much to ask for. I was looking all over the DVD software for these settings because that's where I'm use to seeing the term AC3, when I make DVDs. I had to scroll to the top of that other section until I saw that there was AC3 settings there. Thanks again.
