Sorry, No. Not without first converting it to a 720x480 widescreen DV or MPEG2 file. Besides, there are currently no stand-alone DVD players that are capable of playing a 1920x1080 HiDef file.

I have a MyHD-120 HiDef card in my PC and I have used Nero to burn 1920x1080 files to a DVD data disc and then played them back using the PC's DVD-ROM drive and the MyHD card. A standard DVD will hold about 30 minutes of HiDef.
