Why aren't you using Vegas' capture utility? There should be no drivers to install if it's an OHCI card. I don't know the TRV19 well, but I know it's a firewire-equipped camera with pass through. So, just connect it via Firewire to your computer, then open Vidcap, and capture.

My friend has a TRV19. All we do when we capture to our computers is just plug the camcorder into the FireWire, switch the camera to playback mode, and then record with Vegas' capture program. It also has USB; are you trying to capture through USB or FireWire?

The thing is that a dvi type thingie is in my camcorder and it connects through a usb on my pc.

I've used a trv-19 (and have a trv-22) with Vegas no problems. Just get a firewire cable and hook that puppy up to your computer and open vidcap - should work right off the bat. I have not tried the USB but give the firewire a try, should solve your problem.

hope this hleps,

I would definitely go for FireWire, if you can. My friend was using USB, but was getting a lot lower quality video during capture. He switched to FireWire and the quality really increased.
