I'm using Sony Vegas 4.0e, and I'd appreciate someone checking if this still occurs in Vegas 5 (I don't need any install issues at this time).
I'm trying to use Vegas to perform consonant attenuation in a dialog track, which uses extremely short-term surgical dips in envelopes controlling the freq and gain of two filter bands of the Vegas Track Filter. I loop the section to audition othe changes.
The first time I play the loop, I hear it the way I intended it, but after a few loops, the filter stops working altogether. The sad part, is that a Render of the section does not perform the intended filtering.
This puts into question the accuracy of quick envelopes when controlling filters, and perhaps other things. I now have to use another software for this. GUI is great for workflow, but operational accuracy is more important.
