V5 Won't Open V4 Projects

Wonder if V5 development work considered sequenced image files from the 3D artists world? Can't open any completed V4e projects saved in folders with their tiff and psd sequences. Tried re-opening these projects in V4e (fine), then "Save as" (new name and new folder, with all media). Get same V5 "access error" message. A 3GHZ CPU running XP with SCSI drives takes 20 seconds to get the 1000 or so image files into V4e. V5 errors out in about 10 seconds while loading same project from same folder.

Strange- I can open all my V4 still image sequence project in V5 without issue. Could you send just the project to dr.dropout@sonypictures.com?

I had a vegas 4d project (veg) the has text inserts on color backgrounds. I imported into vegas 5.0a all went fine except the text on the video track abive the main video track, it didn't make it the text box was blank or filled with little vertical lines. I loaded this same veg back into Vegas 4d and it worked fine so I finished out there. The titles and text I hav done in Vegas 5a have worked fine, but it sure didn't like the ones from 4.0d.
