Waveform Magnification in Vegas4

Does anyone know if you can magnify the waveform in Vegas4? I know how to zoom-in on the tmeline etc....but sometimes at the beginning of a quite/slow movement or in quite sections of classical music, you can't see the waveform at all, even zoomed-in with the track height expanded to maximum. Since you can't see the waveform, it makes it difficult to pinpoint the exact beginning of a movement, or make precise edits in quite sections.

I've also noticed this in CD Architect 5....mainly since they are using very similar layouts.

Have I missed something here?

I know you can magnify the waveform in SF7. Is this just a feature that has been forgotten in Vegas and CD Architect?

Thanks,
DWH

hold "shift" then use the up/down arrows on your keyboard

Johnnystunt,

Thanks for the info.....that does the trick. And it works in CD architect too.

Sorry if this was dumb question.....but I couldn't find the answer on my own.

Thanks,
DWH

It's in under Help>Keyboard Shortcuts in Vegas itself, under Magnification and View. Worth a scan of these and making a note of the ones you think will speed up your workflow. Learn 2 every week and reap the rewards!
