Subject:5.1 AC3 plug-in installation

Hi there,

After successful installation of 5.1 Surround Plug-in Pack, I was trying to make a sample 5.1 audio clip by importing some wave file into both Vegas 4.0 and Acid Pro 4.0. when I select Render as Dolby Digital AC-3, the only template I see is Stereo DVD. I am interested in 5.1 DVD!

Any idea why I am not getting 5.1 DVD templates in Render as windows.

Maybe because the properties of your project are only stereo ?

In Vegas go File>Properties>Audio Tab & make sure the "Master bus mode" is 5.1 surround not stereo .


Is that it ??

Thanks a bunch. That was it. After setting Master bus mode to 5.1 it works like a champ.
