Are you using ASIO drivers? It doesn't work with other drivers.

Make sure you have Input Monitoring enabled on the track.

You should use ASIO drivers to get the best results with Input monitoring.

However, you can attempt to use WaveClassic drivers. Go to the Audio Device prefs page and click the advanced button. You will see a number of options, one is to enable input monitoring. This is ONLY recommended for hardware that has native Wave drivers - i.e. Echo , RME - as WDM drivers are NOT assured of being sample accurate between input and output and over all the latencies will be too high to be useful.

Great! This is it. I have ASIO driver and I enable the input monitor and it works. Thanks!

as a note...set driver latency 128ms instead of the factory 256.
it improved the performance for me. also, reboot your machine after setting the latency...it's a must for me.
