i've just upgraded my computer and want to use Vegas 2 which I avoided on my old computer because it couldn't record in time with the drum track.With the new setup ...2.6mghz and two 7200 rpm hard discs...I assumed it would automatically work.Wrong !!!!!....I have tried all the combinations of the record latency possible and find the max setting of plus 20ms gets it closest but still consistently behind.My sound card is a good pro Emagic audiowerks2 card recommended by my digital audio store.What can I do to sort this out???As an aside I notice as I'm testing the different settings I am getting an intermittent pop while recording that doesn't show up in the playback, but this is academic if I cant sync this recording process up.Any suggestions???
