Even when I use one mono track put in just one left front speaker. Then render as 5.1 for DVD - when I burn a dvd the audio is reverbed. I have removed all the plug ins that seemed to default on when first installing... I have tried hundreds of panner variations.... and still get echo reverb on the audio track. I am surprised that no one else here is having this problem. I have not used any buses...have not figured them out. I must have some little stupid item somewhere checked and have not found it yet. ed

Subject:RE: Still haveing Reberb in my 5.1 encodes Reply by: swattum Date:4/23/2003 3:09:24 PM You can easily verify what your receiver is or isn't doing - download a copy of BeSweet along with the GUI, decode the AC3 file into 6 wav files and then examine the individual wave files. If the wave files play back ok, then it must be your receiver causing the problem.

Subject:RE: Still haveing Reberb in my 5.1 encodes Reply by: cmallam Date:4/25/2003 4:08:15 AM This probably isn't your situation, but just in case, i will describe something that happened to me. i was exporting mpeg and ac3 audio from vegas, and when i previewed the audio in DVD architect, the audio was just reverb. i re-exported ac3 audio several times, yet the audio never changed in the authoring program. Finally it dawned on me that there must have been audio encoded in the original mpeg file, so DVD Architect was ignoring the separate ac3 files. i went back and checked the settings for the mpeg file i had exported, and sure enough, audio had accidentally got turned on, and i saw the words 'psychoacoustic' in the template. Re-exporting an mpeg stream with the audio disabled cured the problem
Subject:RE: Still haveing Reberb in my 5.1 encodes Reply by: arlinblair Date:10/24/2003 10:07:25 PM When I get unexpected reverb (am I telling on myself?) it is because I've left my wave volume 'ON' when I've got the input I want to use is also 'ON' - giving that old-fashion radio method of reverb due to slight feedback. Ya just never know when it's gonna bite ya.
