Trimmer shortcut not working?

I'm in the trimmer trying to cycle through the media files with the keyboard and the manual states:

Ctrl+tab (next media)
Ctrl_Shift+tab (Previous media)

When I try this I'm cycled through different windows instead (such as transitions. video FX etc.)

Anybody having this issue?

Sorry about that, Marc. That's an error in the keyboard shortcut list. Ctrl+Tab and Ctrl+Shift+Tab should cycle through the different windows as you describe.

Is there currently a shortcut to do what I want to do?

Also when I trim two adjacent clips using the mouse and the ctrl+alt keys it splits the clips in the preview but they are sqaushed. Is there a way to set it so they do not sqaush but shrink and stay in proper apsect like in Premiere?
