Render to MPEG4 in VV using VV or Quicktime?

I'm looking to render to MPEG4 - I purchased the Quicktime Pro package and installed it. In VV, I still get options for rendering to QT5, and the audio options are all poor quality (and no MP3 option). Should I be able to select QT6 in Vegas? I'm uninstalled and re-installed QT - did the custom install and selected everything. The authoring components are available in the QT app. Any other way in Vegas to render a MPEG4 file? Thanks.

You have to render full rez from VV and do a mpeg4 export from qt pro

So it's going to be a 2-step process? Any idea when QT6 options will be included in VV?

I'd like to know as well. Sucks having to use that much HDD space, and two seperate applications just to get my MP4 rendered.
