Subject:AC-3 and Sound Card Posted by: rnair Date:4/26/2003 8:27:51 AM I am very new with Vegas4+DVD. For AC-3 Support I replaced my computers sterio sound card with Creative SB Live sound card. When I do the surround panning, sound only goes to left and right speakes(I have creative Labs 6 speaker system). The sound card says it supports 5.1. But it does not specifically say that it supports AC-3 formats. Is this a card issue ? If so, could one you please recommend me a Sound Card. I am only planning for mastering (Not mixing or using external recording). Your help will be highly appreciated. Thanks.
