Editing text

In vegas 3.0 my text editing window will not appear anymore when I click to edit text. I can see it zooming to the bottom but it is not there when I try to find the window. It was working fine all day then it disappeared. Do I need to re-install vegas or what?

Nope... Its probably just hiding behind another window pane. Click and drag on the seperator line to move the other window panes out of the way. That's sideways. <wink>

Click on the very top icon (media generator) at the end of any text event, that should bring it up. It still may be hidden under another window pane. Also check under View and see if it somehow got unchecked, if it did, it won't show.

Two options:

1. Make the track TALLER so the icon appears
2. Right-click the media and choose Edit Generated Media (or words to that effect)
